Combat International was founded by Charlie “Chick” Allan in 1995 and has since become the leading combat team in the UK film industry.

Having featured and fought in various international epics, Charlie noticed early on in his film career the extreme lack of skilled fighters around the principal actors and stunt team.

 

The idea was born to provide a skilled force to act as a buffer zone between principal actors and stunts that would separate them from inexperienced SA’s.

Thus providing a more safe fighting environment camera front and also producing convincing background shots.

This formula worked effectively and Combat International became the blueprint of what was later to be replicated and recognised within the industry as the “SPACT” (Special Action Combat Trained)
